Cabin Classes

Economy

Economy Class cabins contain seats with a pitch of 32 inches, in-seat power supply and 6.5 inch seat-back touch screens in selected aircraft. The in-flight menu includes light meals, snack boxes and a range of beverages. China Airlines use the Fantasy Sky Video on Demand entertainment system featuring movies, TV shows, music and games.

Dynasty

Dynasty Class cabins contain seats with a pitch of 42 to 60 inches depending on the aircraft, 12 inches of recline, in-seat power supply, lumbar support, angled foot rests, in-seat telephones and 6.4 inch seat-back touch screens. Seats on Boeing 747-400 aircraft contain 6 inch seat-back screens. Passengers are provided amenity kits containing toothpaste, eye masks, face creams and shaving kits. The in-flight menu includes Chinese, Western and Japanese style cuisine, Chinese style snacks and a range of beverages. China Airlines use the Fantasy Sky Video on Demand entertainment system featuring movies, TV shows, music and games. On long haul overnight flights, Dynasty passengers have access to an extra 8 movies and additional programs.

Supreme Dynasty

Supreme Dynasty Class is available on A340-300 and Boeing 747-4000 aircraft. These cabins contain seats with a pitch of 60 to 62 inches depending on the aircraft, 150 degrees of recline, in-seat power, in-seat telephones and 10.4 inch seat-back touch screens. Passengers are provided amenity kits containing toothpaste, eye masks, face creams and shaving kits. The in-flight menu includes Chinese, Western and Japanese style cuisine, Chinese style snacks and a range of beverages. China Airlines use the Fantasy Sky Video on Demand entertainment system offering Supreme Dynasty passengers a choice of 12 movies, 12 short features, 15 music channels, more than 50 CDs and 10 video games.

First

First Class cabins contain full flat beds with a pitch of 83 inches, electrical control, in-seat power supply, back shell divider, in-seat massage functions, in-seat telephones, coat hooks, book bags, storage and 15 inch adjustable screens. Passengers are supplied pillows, blankets, eye masks and amenity kits. The in-flight menu offers 5 course meals including Chinese, Taiwanese, Western and Japanese style cuisine, appetizers, salads, entrees, yoghurt, Chinese style snacks, Chinese and Western desserts as well as a range of beverages. China Airlines uses the Fantasy Sky Video on Demand entertainment system offering First Class passengers a wide choice of movies, short features, music channels, CDs and video games.
Baggage
Economy Class passengers are allowed 1 piece of 7kg hand luggage, 2 pieces of 23kg (each) checked baggage when flying to the USA, Canada and select destinations in South and Central America, and 1 piece of 20kg checked baggage for all other destinations.
Dynasty Class passengers are allowed 2 pieces of 7kg (each) hand luggage, 2 pieces of 32kg (each) checked baggage when flying to the USA, Canada and select destinations in South and Central America, and 1 piece of 30kg checked baggage for all other destinations.
Supreme Dynasty Class passengers are allowed 2 pieces of 7kg (each) hand luggage, 2 pieces of 32kg (each) checked baggage when flying to the USA, Canada and select destinations in South and Central America, and 1 piece of 30kg checked baggage for all other destinations.
First Class passengers are allowed 2 pieces of 7kg (each) hand luggage, 2 pieces of 32kg (each) checked baggage when flying to the USA, Canada and select destinations in South and Central America, and 1 piece of 40kg checked baggage for all other destinations.
Check-in Options
China Airlines offers web check-in from 24 hours until 3 hours before departure time. Kiosks and counters are also available for check-in at the airport. China Airlines recommends passengers check-in 2 hours before departure time.
Rewards Program
The Dynasty rewards program allows members to earn points when they fly with China Airlines or use the services of their affiliated partners. Accumulated points can be used towards receiving benefits including seat selection, extra baggage, priority treatments and upgrades.
Lounges
China Airlines has Dynasty Lounges located in Taoyuan International Airport, Okinawa Airport, Kaoshiung Airport, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Tokyo, Honolulu and San Francisco airports. Lounge facilities vary between locations and can include luggage storage rooms, showers, phones, internet and PC access, TV screens, self service buffets, cold snacks and a range of beverages. First Class passengers, Business Class passengers and Dynasty Paragon, Emerald and Gold members have access to the Dynasty Lounges.
